It allows you to make the most money on a monster hand.

There are many arguments about this all the time.

Both ways are great, depending on how you play them, and your reasons for doing so.

Not much more i can add.

Intimidation factor. A lot of players online don't have a bankroll, they are playing with everything they have in their account. If they know you can bust them, your stack can be a weapon just as deadly as your cards.
