I live in Jersey, and I am going to be down in AC on Friday with some friends. Do you have any ideas as to which casino your going to. We like to play at the Taj or the Trop on the weekends because the Borgata is just too crowded. Feel free to pm me if you want to meet up with us.

the trop is rigged, the taj has the dirtiest chips in all of america, and the borgata always has a long wait on friday, but those are the big there and i always go to the taj.

others i have played at--- Showboat, is very nice because its new but very small. however never really a wait.

Harrahs, from what i hear its nice and has really soft games, but the time i went there wasnt even a poker room, it was a spot roped off in an open spot behind the escalators. aslo i didnt like it because for nl games they have a very low max buyin.

Wild Wild West (somethin like that part of another casino ballys i think), very very small but they run live sit n gos.

ceasars, never been... i think now the majority of the places there have a card room, but i would stick with the main three and i really suggest the taj or if you get there early enough go to the borgata. if you get there between 5 and 10 expect about atleast an hour and a half wait for any game. so yeah go to the taj

well screw it. i am going to the taj on friday i have talked my self into it. i was going to get some work done this weekend but oh well. i will be at the taj on friday at around 5pm

I agree 100% with everything you said. I hate the Taj chips, but I love the action. I played at the Taj everyday for close to 2 months last year around this time. It was the most fun Ive had. I dont like the Trop that much either, but there is some good action. I just never bother with the Borgata. Its so mobbed on the weekends.

I was at the Taj. Played with James Pollack. He was in the WSOP this year. They did a piece on him. He was the one who became friends with Ivey.

I was there on Thurs - it wasn't my most successful trip, but you have to take the good with the bad.

I was playing with him at a 1/2 NL game until a 2/5 NL game opened up for him. He was at my table for like 1.5 hours. He was a nice guy. He wanted to play 5/10 NL, but Ive only seen the Taj run that game twice.

when I was there this past Sat I thought there was a 5/10 NL game in action... and a couple weeks back they announced a 10/20 game, first I'd heard of at the Taj.

Funny you mention waiting on 2/5, the list for 1/2 was the longest I'd ever seen on Sat, and essentially none at all for 2/5. Far better game, 2/5.
