I made that call preflop just because I like to let people know I'm not going to fold just because I get reraised.

Villain is VERY tight especially for a short handed game.

One of those eh hands that i didn't play well at all. really interested in the river decision though. (And yes I know i should have tried to get some info with a bet on the river.)

If villain is very tight, I probably fold this. His checking down is VERY suspicious, especially since he came over the top of your raise pre-flop. It's almost as if he WANTS you to draw or see free cards, which tells me that he's got a lock on this hand. If he didn't already have aces full or tens full, I'd say it's fairly likely that the river filled him up for queens full. I'd at least put a probe bet out on the river, though.

That hand plays pretty well in position, not so much OOP. I think you need to be folding this against a tight raiser pre-flop OOP.

I fold here. I've seen way too many people flop the nuts and check it down to the river, then when its obvious there's not going to be any bets, they push all-in in hopes you think they're bluffing or something. Very very suspicious action and from a player you describe as super tight, you gotta let this one go. Especially considering how little you've invested already.

thanks for the input you two. I did fold. Regretted not putting out a probe bet, but i was really suspicious right from the flop. 80% sure he makes a continuation bet on this flop with KK. conversation afterwards was funny tho because (stupidly) i commented how i made my flush on the river. Villain started saying I was full of shit and put himself on tilt. lol.
