What do you think ? Should I have even been playing KJ o ?

Also, I almost had chip lead at one point in the tourney until my 88 lost to a 77 all-in preflop.

About midway , though when blinds were 100/200. I had A Q o . I hate this hand and I was in EP so I decided to just raise it to 2000. I had 7000 and most players on table only had 1500 so I thought that if anyone had anything they'd call otherwise I still pick up 300 which isn't bad since I usually miss the flop anyway. Is this a bad way to play ? I only did it twice and the other raise was 600 when blinds were 50/100. What do you think ?

You didn't play this hand horrible, but you are only getting called by a flush or trips (and have no real draw to beat these hands).

Generally when first to act bets that big on a flop like that after limping in pre-flop, they've hit the flop hard, and it's time to leave.

I understand you were trying to put pressure on him, but with the size of his stack compared to your all-in, compared to the pot. He's got the right to take a chance and call you here.

Betting 2000 when the blinds are 100/200 in EP is bad. In fact LP or MP it's probably bad.

You are only getting called by AA, KK, and maybe AK or QQ.
1200 or even 1000 accomplishes the same thing with less money invested. ( I prefer 600 or 800, but can tell you were tired of getting sucked out on)

The 600 when the blinds are 50/100 isn't as bad, but 500 will probably have the same results.

TPTK generally calls for small bets, trying to win small pots and blinds. They are rarely going to win a big pot, so risking large amounts doesnt pay in the long run. With a highly coordinated board I would be trying to get out of the hand as cheaply as possible, and would fold in the face of aggression.

I make a standard raise or slightly larger in EP with AQ. Raising 10x the bb is basically the same as a push...bad. You are likely to only get called by hands that dominate you.
