Just like to know how you guys play this situation.

Hour 2 of Friday Special, blinds 25/50, I'm in BB with 22. I have about 1200 chips, and have been playing tight all tourney so far. SB has about 1700.

Folded to SB, a pretty tight player so far, he minraises to 100. How do you guys play it from here?
goosh
well with pocket 2's if your already ahead your not ahead by much. So if you play back at the small blind and he pushes you almost have to lay it down. He could be way ahead with AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT or have something like AK or AQs (among a large varitey of other hands here) and be looking for you to 'sense' weakness in his minraise and want you to play back at him .
In this situation I would say call the min raise and see a flop, if you flop a set on a low board and the guy is holding AA,KK,QQ you can probably double up here.
if the guy has something like AK, AQs,AJs you will probably get a call out of him as well, otherwise you can fold your 2's on a board full of overs and get away relatively unscathed.

I would say the range of hands you can put this player on is alot wider than I mentioned, but I still stick with the short answer of seeing a flop for 1BB and take it from there.

(Keep in mind I just posted a topic called tournament mediocrity, so take this with a grain of salt)

Stacks are too deep to consider anything but call and fold to a flop bet unless you hit the set.

I can't really see you folding or re-raising here, so calling is really the only option IMHO. I suppose you have to fold if you don't hit a set on the flop and he leads out. If he checks, I'm probably betting like 125 or so and then folding to a check/raise.
