Ok, I'm playing in a pineapple tournament at my local casino. I get dealt A icon_suit_diamond.gif, K icon_suit_diamond.gif, rag. I have 2800 in chips and 500 was what we started with. It's No Limit and the rebuys are done. I raise from late position to 400. The blinds were 50-100 and get only one caller, a very loose player. Flop comes A, 8, 3 rainbow. The caller is first to act and moves all in for 1800 more. I thought for a while and called. He had a set of 8's and I didn't luck out. Should I have laid that down. I figured he had something like A10 or AJ but was obviously wrong.

Depends on the player and abunch of other things. I don't think that can be answered with out us being there.

As the above poster suggested, this is extremely read dependent.

with top pair, top kick and no straight or flush possibilities it would be incredible for anyone to lay this down.

I got to agree with Ktiger48, this would be an incredible laydown... specially since it was a loose player..
