i'd like to know what other strat posters feel their style most resembles. that way when i read posts, i can better get into your heads.
i personally am LAG in late position and shorthanded (5 or less)
i am TAG in early or middle position
i consider myself a much better live game player than online since im able to mulipulate my table image (which is almost always a LAG) well and consider myself very astute at making reads and playing off my opponents strength
of course i adjust my play according to my opponents, but this is how i'd classify myself

After a couple days downswing I am turning Loose-Aggressive/Passive. I think I may take a couple days off. Normally, I tend to be Ultra tight out of position and pretty Tight-Aggressive in position.

Not trying to dis OP, but anyone w/ half a brain becomes more LAG in late position and tightens up early so pick what you are generally, otherwise you have failed to answer you own inquiry.

In tournaments, I am super LAG when I get a decent stack. Cash games, typical TAG.

I used to be SAG(stupid aggressive) when on tilt.
Now I am over 50% TAG, but I mix it up a lot so no one can label me. I guess it depends on which way the wind is blowing and how I am doing for the day.

I'm fairly TAG-y most of the time, especially in my PLO8 game. I'm probably a bit too TAG-y for higher stakes, in fact. I show some streaks of absolutely loose and stupid when on tilt, however.

Asian.
No, really. Weak/passive in early levels of sng, crazy ass medium tight/aggressive afterwards.
Cash games, generally tight as a nun and crazier than a bull!
That's what my fortune cookie said!

Soley depends up limit being played...
Hold'em
3/6-5/10 uber tight on a 9 handed table
10-20 loosen a bit
20-40 loose as a goose and very aggro with position...obv tighter up front
OPL
Nutpeddle the low limits for free money!

NL I play TAG primarily but do go LAG at periods of time. All within a set purpose....
If I have a biiig stack tho in a cash game or tourney I normally am too aggressive. need to work on gearing down sometimes

I like to think I'm tight aggressive, but I know i'm more loose/tight aggressive. I mean i raise with double face cards or an marginal ace if it's limped to me, and bet about pot sized after the flop if it's checked around. I'm not as tight as i should be and i'm more aggressive than I ought to be.

21/10/4 ... at .50/1LHE (over 12k hands)
18/10/2 ... at 1/2LHE (over 2k hands)
That's a SLAA and a TAG, respectively. Both are for full rings.
I didnt have pokertracker last time i made a run at it online, but i worked from $50 to $1,200 and i suspect that my figures were comparable to the above ones for each limit. When i got to 2/4, i think i probably tightened up to roughly 15/10/ and im not sure what my AF would be.
34/18/5 ... at .50/1 6max LHE (over only 1k hands though and many are with far fewer than 5 opponents at the table)
That's an LAA (little taz icon) in PT. <3

Great question! Unfortunately, it depends on my mood, undisciplined citizen of the aquarium that I am.
I used to like to think I was a TA, but the stats (and all of my poker-competent friends) and reality say different so I am working on it.
Think loose, with gills, tempered by enough math so at least there is some basis for being in the pot. I enjoy playing so I never play like a rock on a consistant basis.
Late in a tournament I get so tight that if the Titanic had rivets that tight, ... the iceberg would have sunk!
I like this question because while I am trying to answer it honestly, there is tide of delusion pulling me towards fiction.
While trying to "clean up my hand selection" to reach a better level of playing, to reach a sort of "tight aggressive nirvana", I find myself playing fewer hands, but sometimes bad hands, and collecting dispreportionate rewards when those bad hands hit the flop in a serious way. This means I am some sort of tight-loose player.
What this boils down to is the fact I am weak, working hard to improve, but objective enough to call my poker skill like it is: in need of serious work.

Tournaments - Super LAG Fish (either agression or luck helps me win or bust out early)
Cash Games - easily readable TAG (but hey, it works)

I try to play by the book. anyone who just goes by feel is bound to make bad decisions often. I love to play with people who don't understand that they are chasing bad priced draws.
