I train with him in El Segundo and team Raw. He's an excellent instructor and a class act.

Jost got finished watching it all now, fantastic fights. I didn't expect Diego to dominate Nick Diaz like he did. There wasn't a bad fight on the card, this one is staying on the Tivo for a while.

Great fights, I was really impressed by everyone who fought except for Kit Cope. My rundown:
Kenny Florian: Looks to be a little small for his weight class, but his developing striking skills and already solid jiu jitsu skills should make him a possible contender. Has a lot of heart and a good chin.
Luke Cuomo: I really like this guy. Great strikes, and looks to be a talented grappler as well. Should develop well. Great fighting spirit.
Joe Stevenson: Solid. Great on the ground. Needs to work on his strikes and conditioning. Very promising.
Brad Imes: The fact that he has only been training for a year and has made it this far is impressive. He is obviously a quick learner and a great athelete, plus his size is an obvious weapon. I loved those thai clinches and knees. Am a little curious as to the steadiness of his chin...Rashad is a small heavyweight and almost knocked him out several times.
Brad is obviously taking the sport very seriously and I think he could be a serious contender down the road.
Rashad Evans: Will be a great fighter at 205. Fast hands, awesome ground work, and a good fighting spirit...needs to work on conditioning and also needs to learn how to kick. Good chin.
Nick Diaz: Great fighter, but his post fight comments were really lame.
Diego Sanchez: Champion in the making. Nick Diaz is a top ten fighter and Diego dominated him. Awesome fighter.
I am really psyched about MMA right now...so many great fighters and the sport is really taking off.
Thoughts?

I really like Luke's heart and how he never gives up but even with all that heart he jsut seems to be too small to deal with the strong ground and pound guys like Joe Stevenson. He can do well against strikers but submission guys seem like they will always give him trouble. Diego also does seem like he's gonna be great real soon.

I was amused at Diego's shilling of Xyience and getting off by the announcer when he tried to mention some non-profit organization.

Yeah, that was funny. I was glad Diego dominated Diaz. I've never like Nick, and even after the fight his comments weren't cool.
