Two questions:

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with [Qc], [Qd]. MP2 posts a blind of $0.75.
4 folds, BB calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) [6d], [9c], [6h] (5 players)
Hero bets, CO folds, Hero calls, BB calls, MP2 calls.

(1) With all this action on the flop, do I assume that someone has the 6? Is this another overpair? Maybe an overplayed 9? The 3-bet has me really confused here. My feeling is I'm probably beat. But is this good enough to check-down inexpensively? Do I even have a reasonable expectation of this?

I'm not sure if calling two bets cold was really justified (I have the feeling that not closing the action, this is probably bad), but for better or worse, I did it, and thus comes the second question:

Turn: (11.25 BB) [4h] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 checks, MP3 checks.

(2) What's my line on the river with this turn action? The 4 clearly shouldn't be threatening. (Or am I missing something?)

I was confused enough to check/call UI, but is bet/fold or bet/call better?

Thanks in advance for replies.

That turn is really confusing. If BB had a 6 or 99, it seems like he would've gone ahead and capped the flop. If MP3 had the 6, I don't see how in the world he checks the turn.

Seems like a couple of overplayed 9s...and maybe a savvy 87. I guess one of them could potentially have TT or JJ.

As for the river, I think it depends on what card rolls off.

I also had a weird thought about somebody perhaps having the 78. The river was the 5 icon_suit_diamond.gif , if that helps. That would put three to the straight on the board (probably only completing the 78 ).

But maybe that card is safe enough that it's a value bet? I'm not sure.

I'm also a bit befuddled about what MP2 is sticking around in this hand with. He posted here, so it isn't necessarily a limping hand, I suppose.

MP-3 has all but announced he doesn't have the 6.

Your problem though is the BB & MP2, they could have been quite easily waiting to c/r MP3 on the turn.

WIth that and the 5 completing the draw if MP3 was going for a freecard I would open-Farrell the river. (j/k)

I personally like a c/c line if it comes back for 1.

I'd hate to be raised off by a pair of T's or J's and I think b/c is too much

After that turn checked through, the 5 would scare the bejeesus out of me. C/C is probably best, folding to 2+ bets, given the flop action, turn inaction, the river card, and your position. I don't think anyone has a 6, unless BB was looking to check-raise the turn, but MP3 is likely on a draw, and the most obvious draw just got made. Of course, everyone could be holding a 9/worse pockets, so folding for one bet on the river is out of the question.

Anyone else for bet/folding the turn? Hero's hand may still be good, but I don't like anymore it if he's raised. The implied odds for bet/calling may be there, but it's close (with the 2-outer, planning to check-fold the river UI).
