Could fold the river, as he is betting here either with a flush that he hit on the turn, or possibly a 10. Or he has an overpair. Or he's on a complete bluff. Ain't NL Holdem great?

was thinking about putting out a feeler bet when the flush hit on the turn and if he comes over the top I'm folding, but if he just calls then I'm majorly invested in this pot and makes the decision on the river even harder . Was willing to pay off the ten if he caught runner runner, although that would definitely suck. Guess just wondering if anyones folding an overpair in this position?
Or if someone would tell me that I how I played the hand was an abortion of the game of poker and I should die
Thanks for the reply Zimmer

Overbet the flop, like 20-25. Represents a stronger hand, prices draws worse, makes them wonder if an A is a clean overcard out.
For what it's worth, if the overbet gets raised, you probably have to fold.
No limit just has these types of hands. If someone makes a play on me on the flop, AFTER I've overbet it like that, I'll give them credit for either being a psycho or having a hand... and either way JJ OOP shrinks up a LOT if you can definitely come to either the first conclusion or the second.
-sigh- ... I know I sound like a broken record, but this is why I much prefer NL live to NL online. I can make pretty reliable reads heads up if someone's on a draw... and I have the stones to push a safe turn hard to make someone fold or draw unprofitably.
...and sets and nut flushes, ESPECIALLY internet-heavy players... light up like Christmas trees if they hit.

i think you played this hand fine
pf- raise was fine
flop- nice pot size bet, no need to overbet... this is a nice board for jj
turn- i like the turn check, feeler bets are often raised bc... well... they're read as weak. w/ the flush now appearing, it's better to slow down and lose a little pot than to get pot committed and lose a larger pot
river- i would c/c as well in case villain had a pair and a (non-flush) draw on the flop. a 10 is highly unlikely as well as an overpair.
you made your opponent call w/ absolutely no drawing outs on the flop. im sure if the turn was a non-scare card (no ace or spade) you would have bet big again and taken down a nice sized pot.
