Would you check the flop in this position...if you knew you would get a bet on the flop, if not on the turn?? I will post the results of the hand, after a few replies have been made.

Probably. Unless one of your opponents has 55, in which case you're losing your whole stack/doubling them through, everybody here is drawing to 1/2 outs.

I think checking is a very bad play, common from hold-em players who move to omaha. What you want to do is try to think what people will think you have if you bet vs. check call or check raise. If you bet out, people will put you on a 5, which is what you want. You want A5 or K5 to raise you, then you can put them all in, and they can't get away. Betting out is the only way to get the money all in on the flop. Secondly, checking gives a chance for overpairs to catch up. An overcard coming on the turn significantly decreases the value of your hand, and all of a sudden you have to play the hand carefully rather than full speed.

Free cards are death in Omaha. If you had 55, then you might consider checking. Otherwise, you are vulnerable to overfulls.

I am only checking here with 55 in my hand. Hold'em and PLO are drastically different. If I was in early position, had a crazy player behind me, knew he would bet, thought there was a reasonable chance I would get heads up, and had a 5 in my hand, I might check, but I am usually potting it here. Don't get too cute with your bets because people will pick up on when you do pot, verse not potting.

I agree with the comment above that potting somewhat conceals your hand.

Free cards= -EV in omaha

Checking here isn't terrible, but you have to be cautious if the A, K, etc falls. At low limits you might as well bet because your typical player is willing to go broke with almost any 5

Checking this flop is mindbogglingly bad.

not close in the slightest. The only way you'd check this flop if you were colluding with someone in later position who was going to bet.

good luck.
