I can't imagine any player making this kind of move without the jack. Any reads on them?

I had played with this guy for a while, he seemed pretty solid, last night he had busted my top full house with a straight flush, so I was hoping for a spot to stack him.

Yeah, gotta fold for sure if you're pretty sure they are a solid player.

This is a key point to the hand that nobody has talked about as of yet. Button min-bet on the turn, you come out swinging on the river, button goes over top of you.

With quads, you really think he is going to put in a bet on the turn (even a min-bet), that will possibly deter people from betting/calling on the river if they improve? He took the lead on the turn, so why not just check there to let him keep it? Or were you worried that he would check behind you? I am not sure what the correct action is in these instances... :?

I think flopping trips and putting in a min bet, turning quads and still min betting would be an understandable play.

I don't usually try to check raise unless I'm first to act.

I disagree with that analysis, especially at that level that you are playing at in this particular hand. :?

Raise the turn, fold to a reraise.
