I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but there is a reason I posted it. I think a bad part of low limit players make this mistake repeatedly, I know I have. I think I played this right though.
I see alot of people catch a piece of the flop and lead out here from the big blind, representing trips. The reality most players who flop trips won't lead out so most would give them credit for the 7 or worse. By leading out into a paired board, (or suited or connected like 789), from the big blind you're just asking for trouble. Even if you might be in the lead you aren't getting most to fold here and are susceptible to redraws. But when I got a safe card on the turn, it set up my raise. Had a bad card came, I could safely let it go though. Thoughts?
Did I miss the river bet? Would you have led the flop?

AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, 77, A8, K8, Q8, J8, T8, 98, 78, 68, 58, 48, 38, 28, and A7 beat you.
With a bettor and two callers, do you really think you have reasonable equity here? Could you possibly be ahead or have more than 5 outs?

Geez, I totally disagree with leading the flop and seeing what happens. My hand is so week it is almost spewing with that many people to act after me IMHO. In these low limits people call with the most ridiculous cards virtually any overcard and I'm dead. With that said, after many flop calls (no raises) and a relatively safe card on the turn, I can raise and get people to fold behind thinking I was bluffing the trips or make them pay to draw out. I realize that the sb could have me beat since he led out, but I wouldn't put him on the range of hands that sluggo suggests either.

AA thru 77 he's raising the flop in late position, except maybe 88 and 77 going for overcalls.
A7 maybe, and any of the 8x hands he's raising the flop in most low limit games, or one of them is raising the turn, when they didn't fight back I have to think I'm good, right?
