Should I have potted it there in the attempt to take it down, smooth call, or reraise just a few dollars, hoping to keep them interested?
I look back on it thinking I should have just called there, perhaps I should have led out with a bet but I should have kept them in the pot.
What do you guys think?

You played it fine. I presume you will lead for the pot on any turn card as well, if called.

What would you rather do - win 100% of a small pot, or 50%/25% of a bigger one? You played it fine IMO. 8)

This sums it up quite nicely. Depends on what you want to happen.

But personally I probably would have raised it up a few bucks and not pot it. This has the chance to pay off pretty good if you hit right.

I wonder what "beast" iccguru folded...hehe

he said the beast was kkxx
