Just read the last couple of blogs from Daniel and noticed that when he listed the games he wrote Stud Hi-Lo Regular and Stud 8 or better. I was always under the impression that these games were one in the same. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Stud 8 or better has a quailifier on all low hands that they be better (worse) then an 8.

So the worst low hand you can have is 8,7,6,5,4. if you have 9,4,3,2,A, it doesn't count as a low hand.

Stud Hi/Lo has no quailifier, you can win with a K low. It is also much harder to win money.

Stud 8 is generally called Hi/Lo because true Hi/Lo isn't played much anymore.

But most internet poker sites are wrong when they list that they have stud or omaha hi/lo games, since they are all Stud and Omaha 8 or better.

Cool, thx. I figured that's what it was, but wanted to make sure.
