Pittsburgh hasn't won a game yet after 7 games at 0-3-4
Boston is on a 3 game losing streak, has not won at home yet, and are only 3-5-0 on the year.

FWIW, Thornton had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the Bruins to a 6-3 win. GG Pens!

lol, random bump of the year award goes to ray.

FWIW Brooks Orpik had one of his 4 career goals in what has now been 297 games over 5 seasons. The Pens had a shitty year but got Jordan Staal in the draft and haven't missed the playoffs in the 2 years after that.

Scott Burnside of ESPN recently picked the pens as #1 in the East while the Bruins are #11. Also don't forget Toronto at lucky #13.

That guy's clueless. I'm thinking Montreal is # 1, and the Bruins will be 4th or 5th. Pens are prob #2 though.

ya that's basically the first thing I've ever read from him that I liked. Hockey is like #8 (and that's a conservative estimate) on ESPN's list of important things behind WNBA and Arena Football for sure. Especially with Melrose gone they are pretty worthless when it comes to NHL coverage.
