$15 PLHE (7 handed)

relevant stacks:
Hero $14.35
CO $5.20
Button $18.55

Hero is dealt A:diamond:Q:diamond:

Pre-flop:
2 folds, Hero bets $0.45.

Damn...completely OOP now which I wasn't expecting.

Flop ($1.55): 3:diamond:4:club:T:diamond: (3 players)
Hero...??

I think I played this hand about as poorly as I possibly could.
goose
raise flop, it's +EV here.

I think, aside from my flush draw, my overs may be good as well. Is leading or check-raising going to be more beneficial here?

Ok. so I should've bet, but I donktastically did this:

Flop ($1.55): 3:diamond:4:club:T:diamond: (3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets $0.50, Hero calls, CO calls.

Turn ($2.95): 3:diamond:4:club:T:diamond:J:club: (3 players)

Miss, but pick up more outs. What's my turn play after check-calling the flop? What's my turn play when I do lead the flop?
CobaltBlue
After check-calling the flop, check-call the turn. You've got some great draws, but you're now an underdog...so you don't want to build the pot anymore.

If you bet the pot on the flop, you're hoping that one or both of them will fold. If one or both call, you're probably still a favorite (which is why you're building a pot). Once that J falls, you need to evaluate your chances of getting them to fold on the turn. If they won't fold, it's probably best to check-call OOP. You don't want to get blown out of this pot without seeing the river.

Take my advice with a grain of salt. I play a lot more NL than PL.
