Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (9.50 BB) [2h] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

Am I missing value by playing too timid?

If not, i like it, but it could be close (depending on how agressive villan is) between leading turn, then caling the turn, check-cal the river if he raises.

OK, I guess I let the results misguide my thinking after that one. Looking at it objectively I can see I made the right play. Right after I played it I was a little angry that I didn't get more value out of his JJ, but now I see I made the correct call by slowing down.
