regarding todays blog....isnt there a max buy in at the Wynn for NL cash games? How could you sit down at 5-10 with over $100K? I would think most people would get up, espically when your grossly overbetting pots.

I doubt there is if he was able to do it. Personally if he overbets every pot, i just play much tighter then usual.

He used to do this in the 10-20 NL at the Bellagio I just sat back and waited and he doubled me up. It was Great!

there's already another thred regarding his huge buy-in. Obviously he was playing at a no max table.

There was nothing wrong with what he did, it was funny, fun, and i would have enjoyed to be there. Anyone defending the fact that he was bullying etc etc, THERE IS NO MAX, you come there hoping someone plops down a bunch of money and tries to run over you.

I'm sure everyone at the table had a great time trying to trap daniel and i think it's cool he played 5-10.

If it was no max, then i agree....i've just never seen a no max table.

All the no limit games at Wynn are unlimited buy-in games. You could sit down at the $1-$2 NL game with $300,000 if you had that much. I think every other casino in town caps the buy-in, at least on the lower tables. 1-2, 2-5, and 5-10 are usually capped.

When I played in Tunica, the only NL game offered was a 1-2 game with no limit on the buy-in. Most people bought in for about $500. A few sat down with over $1k.
