...Call if he 3-bets and check/fold the river UI.
If he calls the raise, lead any river.
What do I win?

Any more specific reads? I'll make that play a lot against certain opponents but not against others. This is very read dependent. I like TJ's line without a read.

Well yeah no real reads, he just seems like a decent player, no big mistakes so far.

I like it. Represents a big hand by calling the flop and raising the turn, and it also sets up a free showdown. Since your hand does have showdown value now, I think it's a very good play.

I like this more if we never had bottom pair, or if we were in position. OOP, I doubt you're getting the free showdown.

We're giving him a chance to fold right?

True. The turn c/r is a strong move, and he will usually give you credit for a strong hand. He may lay down a 5's. What about a pair of tens?
If he calls, what are your plans on the river (besides hitting the flush)??

I swear I'm going to institute some cutoff where I don't post before a certain time in the morning. I couldn't even remember we were OOP. *sigh* Disregard free showdown stuff... and I probably just call there.

I figured it was a great spot to do it because I had a LOT of outs with that relatively meaningless turn card. Although, my plan was to only bet out at an improved river. I felt that he wasn't aware enough to bet out w/ a hand that was weaker than a pair of 4's on that river, after my turn checkraise so I opted for a check/fold line if I missed.

look, metagame is a real issue here.
how often are you c/r turns? how often are you doing it with air versus a real hand versus a semi bluff?
how often does HE think you're c/r turns? how often does HE think you're doing it with air versus a real hand versus a semi bluff?
how are you playing the rivers after c/r the turn?

flip over your cards and then call lee jones to help negotiate a 40/60 split of the pot
