The flop came Qd Jd 6d giving me the nut flush and my opponent top set. The turn was a Q giving him quads and I was thinking, "Will my first ever royal flush be up against quads?" Nope.
I find it amazing that a professional poker player like DN has never had a royal flush before while me, who hasn't even played for a year yet has already had 2 of them.

that just means he plays far less hands in cash games/tourneys than you. it also could mean he's not a big chaser, but daniel does love a good draw. i was wondering the same thing actually

I was wondering just the same thing... I've also hit 2 royal flushes in the past year (once in live HE, once in online 7 stud). Guess I'm just a luckbox (I think I already knew that though)

i agree, i don't see how it's possible that Daniel has never made a royal flush, seems so wild to me.

daniel has gotten thousands of royal flushes.

Actually I've had 3 royal flushes, I didn't count the one where there was a royal flush on board, technically that still counts. And all three of mine were in live games even though I'm a predominantly online player.

I doubt that to be true.

That's because online poker is rigged. Right Tritz?

No, actually that is because the odds of ever getting 'thousands' of royal flushes, are ludacris.

Yeah I've played something like 100,000 hands and I have gotten about 6 royals and 5 straight flushes...
