Good thing I have a policy about never drafting Sundin...

Oh God... We're in trouble.
I called my friend (die hard Sens fan) last night right after the Lindros go ahead goal, to gloat only to have the humiliating experience of having Alfredsson tie it up while I was on the phone with him... I may never recover from this.
The cackling laughter has been reverberating through my mind all day.

If you're a Leafs fan you should be used to cackling laughter directed your way.

Don't worry, Sens fans will have to knock off the Leafs in the playoffs a few times before thier laughter means anything! Losers.

I'm predicting one of those times won't be this year. The Leafs won't make the playoffs!

I got him as an autodraft pick, unfortunately. I guess I should have tried and shop him to the Leafs-fan manager for Alfredsson.

Eh, no sweat really, just throw him on the IR and pick up someone else. Two years worth or rookies just hit the open market, Jeff Carter and Mike Richards are listed at C on Yahoo...

Yahoo still hadn't flipped on his IR flag yet; just hope they do that before the 11th when Ovechkin passes waivers.

Ovechkin's a Wing, you need to fill a Center spot. Not that it matters to Yahoo, but you only have a limited number of games at each position and you don't want to use them all by the Olympics break. Unless it's a H2H league, then it doesn't matter.

Pics like that make me glad I played goal my whole career. Sure, you're getting the puck fired at you all game, but you're the best protected player on the ice.
The fact that these guys are out there without at least a half-shield is ludicrous, maybe this will get a few more players converted.

I brought in Ovechkin to replace Nagy, and yes it's a head-to-head league. Though we do have fixed LW/C/RW positions rather than flex players).
And Fedorov for Sundin (he only just cleared waivers due to the draft being done last weekend).
Seems like the injuries piling up on both my NHL and NFL fantasy teams :/

I figure the board/tickers really will pick up steam in February if Danny-boy and you are fighting it out for a playoff spot, as per last year.
