Just sat down a couple of hands ago, no real reads on any of the players.

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [CO] [8s 8c]

MP1 raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, MP4 folds, Hero [CO] raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls, MP1 calls

*** FLOP *** [8h 4d 9h]
SB bets, BB raises, MP1 folds, Hero [CO] raises, SB raises, BB calls, Hero [CO] calls

*** TURN *** [2c]
SB checks, BB checks, Hero [CO] checks

*** RIVER *** [Kh]

What do you guys think? Too passive/weak on the turn?

I threw up in my mouth when I saw you check the turn.

If someone oversets on you, you're going to lose a lot of money, and that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

You HAVE to bet the turn, especially since you 3-bet the flop to take the lead.

Can't play in fear of monsters under the bed... AND there's a hearts draw out there.

Is this (OP) a joke?

No, it's really not. I knew it was horrible as soon as I did it - call the flaming I am going to take here pennance.

I hate your line in this hand.

Bet the turn. Call the river.

There's not much else to say. Push, push, push until the heart draw comes through, and you have the right line on the river IMO. Maybe just call, but I like the raise/call.

usually there is some logic pointing each way, that makes the decision tough. in this case there isn't, you absolutely should bet that turn and there is no good reason not to that comes close to overweighing the value of the calls you will get even though you are likely well ahead.
