My son listens to:

Horse the Band
MSI (Mindless Self Indulgence)

I think its awful but what do I know.

i've never heard of any of those bands. what kind of music is this? am i way out of the popular music scene or are these crappy indie bands that no one cares about and people listen to because its currently cooler to listen to indie bands than zeppelin?

all sarcasm aside, what kind of music is this? i'm not old and i've never heard of it.

No...but did you happen to catch Dane Cook on Comedy Central last night Jay Web?

It was phenomenal.

I watched for Greg Gereldo(sp?), but I'm now a big fan of Dane Cook, aswell.

I've heard Panic At The Disco, they're the only band from your list I've heard.

I like them all right.

I dunno, I've been falling back into my mid-90's melancholy phase, so I'm sure my opinion is jaded a bit.

But they're good stuff from what I've heard.

They get my seal of approval.

I have heard a little of Panic at the Disco and The Academy is....didn't really like either one. I'd have to say not good music.

i like to listen to MSI while doing my programming assignments, and it caused my GPA to jump by a point.... no lie

Is it weird that i am only 20 and i have taste like this? In general i find today's music to be lacking in effort, people just slap stuff together.
