I'm completely hyped about movies at the moment, since after a pretty average year so far there seems to be loads of great films coming out in the near future. I'd like to ask fellow fcper's what they think of these films, and whether any of them have come out in the US already.

All coming out this winter, holy shit. So, what do you think?

I saw two films last night that I'd recommend. The Aristocrats (hence my thread) and a documentary called Unknown White Male. The documantary was really good, with some shades of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang? sounds like a porno

Filesharer, I know you didn't mention this movie, but have you seen Revolver yet? If not I suggest that you don't bother. It has been mauled by film critics, but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt as they said similar things about Snatch, and that was a great fucking movie in my opinion. Anyway, the film is so confusing and pretentious, easily the worst film I have ever seen.

Hey clash. No I haven't seen Revolver. Thanks for the heads up about it. I hear it makes absolutely no sense.

Boobs.

I know it will probably be lame, but I'm actually looking forward to the movie Waiting, with Ryan Reynolds a.k.a. Van Wilder. It's a movie about waiters clowning with their customers, which if you've ever been a waiter/waitress before, you know how often it gets done.

My daughter saw Serenity and loved it....BUT she's a huge Buffy/Angel fan.
