$1/$2 LHE.

A guy in middle position raises, you call in the BB with 55.

Flop is AK5 rainbow.

You bet, MP raises, you 3-bet, he caps.

Turn is blank (no straight, no flush draw).

You bet, he raises...

without reads, do you put him on AK (or worse) and cap it to the end? Or do you put him on AA or KK and call him down...I can't see folding unless you're absolutely certain he's got the better set.

Thoughts?

Does your mindset change if it's 4/8, 15/30, 30/60?

Does a 3-bet preflop followed by a cap eliminate AK? I doubt it, but I'd like your thoughts.

Does check-raising the flop change anything?

Or is this just one of those hands where you're probably gonna get reamed.

I can't fold.

I'm going to call, check call and I think thats a little timid.

9 ways he can have AK
6 ways he can have AA/KK

It's 3:2 that he has 2 pair rather than a set here. I'm 3-betting the turn and slowing down if it gets capped.
