Not many online poker rooms have Razz as an available game...

full tilt almost always has razz games going, you can almost always play .25 .50, and they usually have daily games going up to 3-6

I play razz on full tilt, usually just .25/.50. I either absolutely love it or hate it depending on the day. I also play it in the 1/2 and 2/4 mixed games on gamesgrid when im playing there.
i forgot who said this but some poker legend said that "razz is 95% luck and 5% skill." It might have been in supersystem1.
I think the percentages are off a bit, but it is a game that boils down to who draws out better more often than not. Still a fun game though, and there is definitely some interesting strat involved.
what do you all think of the above quote?
agree? disagree?

I agree that a lot of the time whoever draws best is going to win, but this isn't always the case. If this were true then it wouldn't be possible for someone to be "good" at razz, you would only be good if you got lucky. There is a lot of strategy involved, in terms of knowing when it is fundamentally right to chase and when you need to give up your hand. People lose a lot of money chasing down with moderate draws, or calling off there chips drawing dead.
I think with razz though, is once you become very good there isnt really anywhere else to go. It's hard to dominate at razz in a sense, when you are playing with all other decent players, since everyone else knows all the fundamentals as well as you do. Clearly there is a decent amount of skill in razz, though you will see nl donkeys come to the razz tables every day thinking the game is 100% luck, once you play it enough you will realize the skill involved to be good.

Could you not say the same thing about ANY poker game? Those kinds of thoughts about Razz are ridiculous. Any DRAW poker game is more luck than skill IMO, not games like Hold'em, Stud, Omaha, Razz, etc.

sure you can say the same about a lot of games, the thing with razz though is, your hand is useless if you don't make 5 cards, so you need to get a little lucky in order to get 5 cards, razz and stud both basically are drawing games, though razz more than stud, since in stud a pair could be good, where in razz starting with a234 is no good if you follow it up with 2kq
