It was *great* to read some hands posted by Daniel in his latest blog regarding an online tournament he played. It's somewhat (sadistically) gratifying to know that even the greats get outdrawn just like the rest of us. Of course, we know this happens to everyone all the time, but to see it posted in a blog is a nice reality check.

Daniel, have you ever thought of posting an entire hand history of an online tournament you've done well in? Possibly with your thought processes in key pots? That would be AWESOME!

Was it DN that wrote something along the lines that pro's shouldn't hide behind screen names cause it takes away from the knowing your opponent aspect of the game? That'd be like Spirit rock changing his name every week.

He probably doesn't want people to know his screen name because he doesn't want 8 million railbirds everytime he sits down at a table.

lol, true! But seriously, there is software out there that hides your screen name and makes you "HERO" (sounds kinda Indiana Jones-ish!). I know your time is precious, but this kinda information would be gold dust for us. The next time you feel like just lounging on your sofa for the day, may you should consider it ;-)

Good point. I know Layne Flack and Darrell Dickens (to name just two) get these railbirds all the time. Although turning chat off is always an option ;-)

It also depends on the site you play on. UB doesn't allow railbirds to post and Full Tilt allows you to turn off observer chat completely.

Hey Daniel congrats on your online tourny win! Which online poker site do you use?

That was me he kept raising when I was playing weak. He got me to lay down some hands in that process. I guess my limp, bet the minimum move on each street just wreaked of weakness. Oh well. It was on Stars, we probably sat together for over an hour too.

Even though this goes against DN's wishes I'll tell everyone his screenname on Stars. Its: "KingOfDaClub." Sorry DN I think everyone should know. Go ahead and ban me if you would like, I probably deserve it. But remember I am a loyal fan, I had fun playing vs you, and I think everyone should have the same experience.

Not true. You cant post/chat at the highest level tables OR at the final table. Anywhere else is OK

I don't see that Player name registered for that Sunday tournament on Stars.

Can you tell us if you have Las Vegas listed as your city?

(Of course not all people put their real city location in - for example - Elmo's World)

I checked on Stars and there was only one tournament with over 3000 players. It is possible it was an earlier event and has since "scrolled off" the board on PokerStars.
However, with Daniel being a poker player, and up the previous evening, and living on the west coast 3 hours back of PokerStars time, and it's a Sunday - unless he's now attending a super early service since married - I'd think he'd play later in the day.
