this is from a live 4-handed mixed game

blinds were $.25/$.5 and average stack was around $100

I think I was in the SB, but I'm not sure.

I have 5 icon_suit_spade.gif 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif J icon_suit_club.gif 9 icon_suit_club.gif

Preflop action is call, call, complete, call

Flop is Q icon_suit_club.gif T icon_suit_diamond.gif 2 icon_suit_spade.gif

I check, BB checks, CO checks, Button bets $2, I call, BB folds, CO calls.

Turn is 4 icon_suit_spade.gif

I check, CO checks, Button bets $8, I call, CO raises to $40, Button raises all-in, I call, CO thinks a while and calls.

Both Button and CO cover me, my stack is about $80.

This was a very loose and aggressive game and Aseem was the CO.
Rocketwadster
Wow. Very loose calls IMO, even for short-handed play. :?
Blumonkey
Pretty loose. I don't call the reraise.

I got the action wrong in my OP.

I was actually in the BB and getting better odds on every street than the post indicates.
akishore
you got all of the action wrong, and your cards too.

tim - BB ($75ish stack)
aseem - Button ($60ish stack)
SB - $100 stack
CO - irrelevant in this hand

hero is tim in the BB with J icon_suit_spade.gif 9 icon_suit_club.gif 4 icon_suit_spade.gif 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif
CO limps, Button (aseem) limps, SB completes, tim checks.

($2) Q icon_suit_diamond.gif 10 icon_suit_spade.gif 2 icon_suit_heart.gif
SB checks, tim checks, CO checks, aseem bets pot at $2. SB calls, tim calls, CO calls.

($10) 5 icon_suit_spade.gif
SB bets pot at $10. tim calls, CO folds, aseem repots for $40 more. SB pushes, tim ...

if we assume aseem will put in his remaining $15, the pot has:

$40 (before aseem repots) + $55 (aseem's stack including repot) + $70 (SB's push including call of aseem's repot, up to the amount of tim's stack).

= $165

tim has to call all-in for $70 or fold.

getting about 7-to-3 or about 2.35-to-1.

note that saying this game is loose/aggressive is a huge understatement. this game was all gambooool since it was really part of a fast-action mixed game.
