i'm in a 12 team league. my team is pretty good. i've been offered a trade. first off, i'm going to give you my team, then the other guys team. this is a nfl.com league, so all pts are normal.
td= 6pts
25 passing yards: 1pt
10 recieving= 1pt
10 rushing= 1pt
my team:
starters
carson palmer
priest holmes
willie parker
darrel jackson
hines ward
alge cumpler
colts dt
bench:
brett favre
laman jordan
larry johnson
derrick blaylock ::picked him up this week just incase martin gets hurt:::
drew bennett
cardinals dts
his team:
tom brady
correy dillon
curtis martin
randy moss
steve smith
jeremy shockey
jetsdt
bench:
griese
travis henry
rod smith
stallwortth
wiggins
bengals dt.
the trade:
randy moss, curtis martin, correy dillon, rod smith, and stallworth jets for holmes, colts, favre, darrel jackson, hinesward, willie parker
i really want to get rid of willier parker since his stock value/trade value is at it's highest point and probably will drop since staley and bettis are getting healthy again. I have a load a RB and I'm going to get 2 more but i have to give up my top 2 wrs and holmes, for randy moss, martin and dillon..who gets the better end of the deal?? should I accept?

i must say i hate the trade...you need to upgrade and build around hines ward...i think willie parker is there to stay, personally. no reason to bench him, so i'd ride him like a rented mule.
you're giving up too much, and getting too little in return. dillon seems a step slow, and cmart is about 87 years old.
personally, the trade i'd offer is priest for randy and a throwin...lamont should be able to shoulder the #2 back...you'll be screwed if willie parker ever gets benched, tho

This is confusing me. Aren't you the one getting rid of holmes? Your team lists aren't matching up to your description of the trade.

parker isn't there to stay, he will get benched or atleast lose some playing time to staley and bettis when they return..which is really soon. that's why i want to get rid of willie parker. so i think you are wrong there pupsta, his trade value is going to go down by week 5 or 6 when they both return. nO way am i going to ride him because he wont be the starter the whole year. trade him now before it's too late.
hines ward never really does well in fantasy leagues. he's a top WR but hes a great overall WR, his numbers have never really been outstanding, but solid nonetheless. i really think Darrel jackson is going to have career numbers this year, just wait and see.
palmer is going to be solid all year,. i have holmes, and if he gets hurt, i have larry johnson. lamant jordan is a solid #2 back, but i havent started him this season since i have holmes and parker, but again, parker is going to lose a lot of value in a few weeks

if you think so, then offer parker straight up for randy, or offer parker + a throwin for randy...imo you need some help at WR...i'm not that high on DJ.

I don't like the trade at all.
Let's review:
1. Moss > Everybody, so you're +EV with that one.
2. Holmes and Parker > Martin and Dillon, -EV with that one.
3. Colts > Jets, big -EV.
4. IMO Jackson and Ward > Smith and Stallworth, -EV there.
5. Favre sucks so +EV there.
If Moss were going to bring in more points than Favre, Jackson and Ward combined then I'd say accept, but I just don't see that happening.

how could holems and parker be > than martin and dillon? parker is going to get benched really soon. week 3 he is starting but duece staley is going to get some reps since he is healthy again. i'm sure by week 4-5 they are going to be splitting carries, then when bettis comes back, he will get most of the goal line carries. martin and dillon will get the load all year long

i offered someone carson palmer and willie paker for payton manning. They really need a RB. I gave them all this Bs about parker been a top rb for the rest of the year and showed him palmers numbers compared to manning.
manning is really going to have a soft schedule in the next 5-6 games. palmers schedule is goin to get really tough
hopefully he accepts. I've talked to him on AIM and he likes the trade but he wants to wait until this weekend is over to see how all players do. i just hope palmer and parker have a big weak and manning somehow dosent against the browns

1. Steelers named Parker the starter indefinitely.
2. Martin is awful and injured (questionable for this weekend).
3. Holmes is much better than Dillon.

i really think you're underestimating willie parker...just a hunch, but i think he'll be getting 80% of the carries, even with duce and bus healthy.

I think he will, but even if he doesn't, Holmes will put up more points that Dillon and Martin combined every week, so then throw in anything from Parker and Holmes and Parker > Dillon and Martin.

that's the reason i called off the trade. i need to trade parker ASAP. i could keep him for this week but i need to trade him before his value goes down. I don't seem been putting up numbers like he did week 1-2 after week 5-6. i dont underestimate him, i just know he will lose value once staley and bettis come back. everyone knows that. that's why I should probably try to get a top WR right now for him

burleson is currently hurt and probably wont play this week. it depends on the wr's you already have. plus, vick is a decent QB. if you really need a WR, i trade vick for another WR

You are out of your mind.
1) Palmer and Parker >>>> Manning (do you really think Manning will have another season like last year, c'mon) Palmer has the best offense in the league, he could be MVP this year.
2) Holmes >>> Dillon and Martin combined. The fact that you already have Larry Johnson already increases your value of Holmes since if he gets injured, you put in Johnson and lose nothing. In fact, my friend wants to play Holmes and Johnson together as combined they will probably have 30 TDs which is more than anyother 2 RB combo you will find.
3) For reason mentioned in 2) Parker is your only possible trade bait for a better WR, try get Owens. BUT, like someone else said, Parker will start the rest of the year, especially if he keeps playing like he is. You forget that Ben Roth was only a backup last season after Maddux almost had an MVP year the year before, and you didn't see Cower go back to him when he was healthy. They will ride Parker the whole year, and with that team, there is no reason their success will not continue, I would rather stay weak at 1 WR posisition and keep your current team.
