candlesticks always make a nice gift, and uh, maybe you could find out where she's registered and maybe a place-setting or maybe a silverware pattern. Okay, let's get two!

We got our groomsmen humidors that had a silver metal decorative piece on top and had that engraved with their initials. They all seemed to like that.

I think the gift is meant for her husband.

I understand that but the quote is the quote regardless. I didn't change the words of the sacred cinematography that is Bull Durham. :wink:

That's why I suggested a humidor.

Flasks are also nice and you can have those engraved as well.

The best (and most thoughtful) wedding gift my husband and I got was 3 framed pics of us taken right after the ceremony outside the church. A friend's parents took the pics on digital cameras, went home and printed off 2 5x7s and an 8x10, put them in the frames they had bought, and we opened them the next day at our gift opening. It was wonderful to have the pictures so quickly- the photographer took nearly 3 weeks! We took the 8x10 on our honeymoon to Vegas. (The 8x10 was of us, the 5x7 us with his parents, and us with my Mom). I highly recommend it if at all possible...

Yeh that's a good gift for a groomsman for sure. He smokes so maybe I should get a engraved cigarette case or something.

A great gift would be if you helped him to stop smoking. That's a gift that will last a lifetime.

If you only knew man, I've tried so hard to get him to quit. He has a kid now and that should be the #1 reason. I quit for 4 years now and keep trying to get him to quit but, it doesn't work
