I'll be there meeting some old friends from out of town.
All the more reason for him to show up.

Suited_Up, BigFish and AndrewBlack, repeat after me:
"I am a jerk. There were hundreds of topics I could have replied to yet I chose to reply to one that didn't pertain to me and knew nothing about and it made me look like a fool. Perhaps next time I will not take it upon myself to decide what is a relevant topic and what is not and let it go. I apologize."

Such hostility....
Mojo's?? How new is that place? It's been a while since I have been downtown... I was always partial to Taps..nice laid back atmosphere...not a clubbin type.

Mojo's is fun. I like a good dueling piano bar. There's a lot of fun bars in the downtown area. Mojo's, Gardellas, The B.O.B., etc. No shortage of good places to find a drink in GR. I still love O'Toole's the most though.....
To all the FCPers in Grand Rapids, do you guys play in any games around these parts? I am in need of a good game around here. PM me or let me know if you have one. DN, want to play some cards before you leave town? 8)

I've been part of a local poker group in Grand Rapids or quite a while. Regular games, good turn-outs, etc.
It the Grand Rapids Amateur Poker Association (GRAMPA, for short).
The website is www.grampa.cc
There is a NL Holdem Shootout Tournament on 10-01-05.

Thanks for the info....I do know of grandrapidspoker.com, and played their NL tournament....a lot of those players play in a weekly game at American Seating Park, but that game doesn't really interest me any. I will check out that website though. Thanks

I host a weekly home game with friends and players from the area. Most of us know about any games/groups that happen in GR. If you're interested in a small 8-15 home game or want info on groups and/or local tournies, pm me and I can give you some info.
