Devilfish calling Raymer a calling station is a classic. Too bad Raymer made a great read to call with them 6's.

was it a great read, or is he really a calling station who can't lay down a pocket pair? I mean, the next hand he called an all-in with just top pair and a weak kicker.

If he's a calling station, why would you try to push him out? Bitterness, i say as well.

im i the only who thinks that if he though is 6s were good and he put devil on 2 overccards he had to raise to protect them

What about calling the "Hold 'em or Fold 'em" when there was a flush on the board and he called a bet on the river?

I thought it was a great read, I do like devilfish a lot, but i think he was just mad at losing the pot. I dont think you couldve done what raymer did in the 2004 and 2005 wsop being a calling station, btw he had the chip lead too, I like the fact that he's being agressive and not afraid to put his chips in, he's going for first and nothing else.
NaturalSelection
calling isnt aggresive, that was a raise or fold situation IMO

I hate raising that flop...a player like devilfish will put a lot of pressure on you after that with hands that you have beat. ii think raymer played it fine.
