I had no reads at the table, this was within the first few hands, I wasnt sure without a read if I should give villain credit for the flush or not.

Call down.
You're risking 2BB to to win 7.75BB. You only have to win here 21% of the time.
If you are against a flush, you will win improve to a FH about 8% of the time.
You could also be up against a smaller Ax (especially if the ace is a club) or be up against a pair and a high club.

Easy call there on the river.
Heck, I am sure that some MAY say that you could even put in a raise there, or should have bet out. I personally am not saying that, but do feel that others might.
You can beat many hands right now, and lose to a couple. 8)

anyone 3-bet this turn?
I like pf raise.
Certainly a raise or fold.
were the blinds playing tight?
I don't want any/many callers.
Hands that call raises at tight tables would suck for me with A9 off, no?

No, the blinds, were not tight, they were incredibly loose. But, they would check/fold the flop if they didn't hit a piece of it.

standard call-down.
optional 3-bet on the turn, but its a situation where you give him the option to reraise and he will if he's ahead, so you have to be ahead more than 50% of the time to reraise.
i don't like the pre-flop raise. would only do it if i thought i'd cultivated a pretty tight image and it would be very unlikely to get called except out of the blinds.
