I think the only way I'm going to learn PLO8 is by playing a lot. Do I have some fold equity here?

you should, unless you're playing a donkey. pot it either way.

in my experience, that sort of bet gets called a little more than 50% of the time. not very many low limit players will CR two pair here.

You have fold equity, but you're also playing people who will call anything anywhere with a nut low draw.
