Pretty sure this is standard. I would hate A278 and a few other hands, but I think on average I'm winning more than my share here.

turned straight

Oh, hey, I was missing it.

I'm checking this river.

I could start in about playing OOP again, but you've seen that movie by now.

The reason I'm checking this river is that because he's in position he can do things like repot here with lots of hands tht 3/4 you and lots of hands that don't and you shouldn't really be calling any of the time.

See how much better this hand plays in position?

The reason I bet the river is because I've noted the strange things people call pot-sized river bets with at this site and level. I made a note to myself to relentlessly value bet the river. Plus, I think villain would have shown strength earlier if he had a set or a higher straight, so what I'm really worried about is him having two pair gone good.

Would you raise a hand like this PF for position?

Well not from the BB, but yes if I was in MP or later absoltuely.
Smasharoo
Hey, incidentally, the best (as insoftest) $2k game I've seen in about a year is going on Party right now.

Table 55069.

IF you're bored you should watch and see how many times the player in position wins the bigger pots.

I could not believe this hand. I thought "he cannot have AA!"

Guess there are big fish everywhere.

The A299 guy's call is fine.

This game is *really* soft though.

A278 would almost certainly have come back at you on the turn. The only hands you really need to worry about are A2xx that have filled up - and these would probably have played back on the flop. I think you are pretty safe here.
