What is your move here? You're getting 3 to 1 and you have 18 outs to the nut low (could get quartered) plus an OESD?

Also, what do you think of the preflop raise? This hand has a large equity edge against most fields, but I still don't know which hands to raise preflop.

Can't call.
Raise all-in or fold depending on how tight a game you play.
I say raise all-in. I count 20 outs to the low. The high is dodgy though.13 outs to a reasonable high.
What sort of fold equity are we looking at here? What are the players like etc.

Re-raise enough to put BB all-in. The 2 players behind you should fold and MP1 will probably call. Then you can get MP1 all-in on the turn. If you max raise now, BB will still call but you will probably drive MP1 out. Although he may have a low, you are probably in better overall shape than him, so 3/4 him will compensate if you end up getting 1/4 on the main pot.

Pre-flop equity is almost irrelevant in PLO8 unless you can raise enough to get all in or close to it preflop.

You raise prelfop in PLO8 to get position.

good luck.

I just started playing PLO8 again, and I'm trying to strictly adhere to the whole postiton thing you've been preaching. What range of hands should I be raising in order to get it? I almost never raise preflop. I'm playin at PP $25 tables.

I just realized I had a lot more outs than I was giving myself credit for: 6 to a nut straight and 7 to a non-nut straight.

Thanks to ahosang to correctly counting my outs.

Easy push.
