A big part of posting this hand was just to see if it would work since ive never posted a hand before so no reason to go nuts. A little more information though. The player to my right was a very poor player and had been raising and playing a lot of pots with weak hands. He had just lost his stack to someone else and rebought so when he called i figured i had a little added value that if i did hit my hand he would pay me off steaming.
My flop bet was just on the outside straight draw with top pair, really just trying to see who would go away and get a cheap card or get raised and bail. The turn was what i was wondering about. It being a backdoor draw i thought if i hit my king flush would definetly be good and the player that bet into me had made similar bets with two small pair or other weak hands. Wasn't expecting a call behind me, much less a raise. He was new but had showed down a couple weak hands, which i know doesn't mean he doesn't have the nuts here. anyway like i said flame away ty.

First off, please format your hand history like this:
ANTES/BLINDS
Hero is UTG+2
9
8
K
Q
PRE-FLOP
UTG
calls $0.50.
FLOP
K
,7
,6
1B
checks.
TURN
K
,7
,6
,4
UTG bets $10.
It's a pain in the a**, but if you want people to read it, you have to be courteous enough to make it easier to read.
Second, please don't put the results.

There's no reason to call the $10 bet. Even if he has 2 pair you can't beat him, and he could have two pair plus the nut flush draw or made straight.

Now that someone formatted the hand, it is much easier for people to see how else you could have played it.
Pre-flop - fold, UNLESS the table is such that you know a lot of players are going to see the flop for one bet AND nobody has raised pre-flop previously (but even then its probably a fold).
On the flop - top pair, open ended straight draw. I like the bet there, hoping to get rid of the chaffe.
On the turn - Fold. You are currently beat (why would UTG check/call teh flop but come out swinging when a 4 comes??? Even if it is only two pair or a set, you are currently beat).
Since you showed the results (a no-no around here), let me say that you should continue to play with the UTG player as often as possible, as you should easily win back the $10 that you threw away on the turn. 8)
