Sometimes, I like Fox Sports' poker coverage...

Poker at the Plaza & Poker Million II were pretty enjoyable. The announcers were knowledgable, the little gimmicks were interesting, and the format was engaging.

Poker Superstars is entertaining because of its star power, and the announcers aren't bad. Sure, it's a bit of a luckfest, but it's still entertaining.

The American Poker Championship was decent.

That said, there are two events that stand out as being awful: that UltimateBet tournament & the Australian Poker Championship. One might think that my complaint stems from the lack of star power or interesting personalities...but that's not the case at all. The production value is shoddy. While they present a more realistic take on poker (with lots of stolen blinds and walks), the lack of editing makes them drag. The production values are pretty miserable. Numerous times, they've screwed up the cards and percentages. The announcers often miscall the hands, and Vorhaus has to be the most annoying announcer ever. His "Mhm" makes me cringe.

Anyone else feel similarly?

The UltimateBet tournament definitely blows.

That was due more to shitty online players rather than commentary

"hmmm.....One guy is all in for 2xBB, and another has called, my QQ cant be good, I fold"

............
