semi up to date rosters but no crosby. the game plays good though but its a little tough at first. plus it comes with NHL 94 built into it so thats awesome.

I just played NHL 06 quite a bit last night and I really enjoyed the game. A friend of mine downloaded the rosters the other day and he said Crosby will be added once he has played a game in the NHL. They apparently can't add players until this has happened.

The game plays really well and it is in my opinion a much more realistic game then the last years version. The larger players are much harder to knock down or check off the puck ( just one improvement ), so you can make some moves with a "Lindros" that you can't make with other players.

They have added the create a team / player feature back into the game as well, which is a great addition. The only thing I find is that you seem to hit the posts an awful lot during the games. We had games where we literally hit the post 3-4 times in a row during one offensive rush.



Buy the game! It is worth it if you enjoyed the previous versions. I was just like you and not sure if I would buy it or not this year. I am definitely going to purchase the game as I really enjoyed playing it.

does lindros get a concusion every time he gets hit? that would make it realistic

Yes he does and the leafs can never win the Stanley Cup ( default setting of the game )
