Early in WCOOP, 1400 left, average stack is 9600, im at a table thats been very passive, lots of limping. Im in the CO with 10500. Blinds 50/100, UTG+2 with a 15000 stack raises to 300, player to my right (been at the table for 15 hands and has been quiet) raises to 2k,
Folded JJ....too wimpy? I'm calling with QQ, and not at all bothered by folding with 99, even TT...but JJ?

I treat JJ like a middle pair in that situation where you have 100x the BB.
I fold that fairly easily with the raise and substantial re-raise in front of me.

Good fold.
Unless these are maniacs, the best you could hope for is TT or AK. And, the action is still open, so playing for a set isn't feasible as the original raiser might jam.
But, probably the Re-raiser has AK, AA or KK.

I like the fold. JJ is good when you are the aggressor, but with a big re-raise in front of you you are probably a big dog in the hand or at best 50-50 to some over cards. This is an easy fold for me too, especially with someone to act behind you.

Yeah, this isn't that tough of a fold here. You have enough time so that you don't have to play in this type of a most likely wa/wb situation. You can find better spots than this.

You might be ahead here, but you have to respect the gap concept in this spot. calling this reraise is just trouble, good fold.

That's a tougher call for me. That's 4 less overcards that can beat you. Also since the jacks are not in your hand it's more likely that your opponents betting with them, maybe AJ for the initial raiser or JJ (although not the most likely) for the big re-raise. If you call a big raise like this you have to be prepared to go all-in. For me this would depend completely on my read on my opponents and how likely they are to be holding KK or AA. I'd probably play this 75% of the time....I seen big re-raises with garbage too often or a small (but live) pair wanting to gamble, since it's pretty much a coin toss, against one opponent with big slick.

Even QQ I probably fold here. Even though you may be ahead, if you are behind pf, you're probably going to lose all your chips. You have tons of chips, and have no pressure on you to make a move. KK, I probably push, but QQ, I put on my frown, and toss them into the e-muck

With QQ, I think that I call as I probably beat UTG, so it's really the re-raiser that I'm worried about.
I think that AA, KK, JJ, 1010, AK could re-raise or even more hands if he's very aggressive.
If an A or K doesn't hit the flop, then I play my queens hard after the flop.

The big re-raise here would worry me to. Since he's been so quiet it looks like he woke up with something, but why such a big re-raise? He's throwing 2k at a 450 pot. It's almost like he is trying to buy the pot or get head's up action. Either that or he thinks that the intial raiser is super aggressive and will give him action anyway. I think someone with AA or KK is more likely to raise to 600-1000 to try and get some action. Other hands are more likely here, unless he's scared to mix it up after the flop.

I fold QQ here. I fold anything i wouldn't be willing to go all-in with.
Best case scenario is that I'm racing one of the opponents and beating the other. And, I'm probably worse off then that. Have confidence in your skill and the fact that you can later make higher percentage plays with the chips you just saved.
