So I'm on PARTY! at last.

3-6 limit

Table is tightening up, and the villian is a NEW POSTER in the CO.

Hero has 8-8 in Hijack - MP-3

Tables folds to.... Hero raises, CO calls, rest of the table folds.

Flop: [Kh][5d][6h]

Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: [Ah]

Hero bets, CO calls.

River: [2h]

Hero checks, CO checks.

Ok so the thinking is that the new poster is calling one more preflop without an Ace most of the time so I'm attempting to represent an ace on the turn. 4 hearts hit the board on the river, so I just give up...

I usually bet the fourth heart HU against a passive opponent. did u have any reads on this guy? is he the type of player that calls down w/ QJ or a small PP? Id bet the river and hope he folds his Ad7d.

He didn't have a read cause the villain just sat down. Still, you should bet the river if you make it there.

I might give up on the turn since the pot is tiny and we are OOP with 3rd pair.

I bet until he lets me know I'm beat.

I'd check the river if it wasn't the fourth heart.
