Who here thinks that pretty soon, we're gonna see Luke levitating Xwings out of the swimming pool?

lol, the guy that lost the fight tonight is just a puss. That was one of the weakest triangle chokes that I have seen in a long time. I think he just gave up and was looking for a way to get out of the competition because of his shoulder. He kept complaining about his shoulder, but lest he forgets that Jorge Gurgel has NO ACL in his knee right now and isn't complaining about it

I actually haven't finished watching it yet. I'm glad that guy who kept pissing and moaning about his shoulder is gone then. When you have the opportunity to train with Matt Hughes, arguably the best welterweight in the UFC, you suck it up and train with him. There are people who'd give both their shoulders to train with that guy.

Luke will put Chris Angel and David Blaine into levitation purgatory. Having been choked out by a triangle choke in my younger days, I agree that was weak, thought he might actually win the fight.

Did you see his shoulder after the fight?! It was jacked! The tendon/ligament/whatever was all torn and balled up in his bicep. That had to hurt and I'm sure that arm was no longer functional.

watch how he gave up in that fight, then watch the fight between tim slyvia and frank mir, Slyvia's arm was completely snapped, and he was still rearing to go when the fight was stopped. Josh Burkman from last week had his arm broken during the fight and continued fighting. I can find plenty of examples of fighters getting hurt during a fight and still carrying on, or at least trying to carry on instead of giving up like rob mcdonald did. the fact is, he never was gonna submit Imes with those guilotine chokes that he had on becasue they were more like head locks that are just painful, he didn't have good form on either of his choke attempts and I have only seen Dan Henderson submit someone with a front headlock, which is what rob mcdonald was putting on Brad Imes. If he had done a guilotine choke right, his opponent wouldn't have won the fight, plain and simple, and his bad shoulder wouldn't have come in play if he did the choke right

Yeah, that was one of the weakest submissions I have ever seen. Also, like KDawg mentioned, there are plenty of injuries that have been worse than that and the fighters fought through them. Who was it from last season who said they got an arm broken in a fight but just knocked his opponent out with his other arm?
I thought it was funny how dissapointed Matt Hughes looked the entire time after the fight. It must be tough being one of the toughest mother****ers in the world to have someone you're coaching just give up like that.
Anyway, I'm excited to see Luke in the ring, anyone else?

Agreed. Extremely weak triangle. This season looks to be another good one...i cant wait to watch matt hughes pick on that guy on the other team next week.
Does anyone else think that sub looks like a total doucheclown> I guess we'll have to wait and see him fight.
That dude that bitched out on the challenge was a total puss. I can tread water for two minutes and i smoke two packs a day.
By the way, how does everyone like Forrest Griffins chances in his next fight? I dont know much about his opponent.

I think the next UFC ppv is gonna be good. In regards to Forrest's fight, I just hope Forrest proves to us why he got the contract. He has a real good personality, and from my limited exposure to him, he seems good.

I have seen the guy that Griffin is supposed to fight once before in a Pride event. He is a good wrestler, but his ability to take a punch is suspect, and his defence to strikes lacks. Sure hope he wins.
