As much as I disrespect George Bush, Kanye's rant was totally out of line.

That fundraiser was a humanitarian effort and not a political platform.

It's not like Kanye was even well spoken or voiced his opinions well. Damn.

He made those of us, who are anti-Bush, look like idiots.


My friend just bought a house near the college we graduated in May. He had some money from a car accident back in the day, so he decided to start buying real estate. He also lives here.

Kanye went on a short rant during the concert for hurricane relief and (as it seemed) pissed Mike Myers off (who cares)...

Pretty much the rant was bashing the Federal Gov't for the horribly slow response and Cutting down Bush for giving the National Guard and Active Duty and local law enforcement free reign...

It wasn't Marshall Law but....

Kanye has stated after that he may have been out of line but he felt something needed to be said...

If u watched any of the coverage at all on the piss-poor Fox News Channel (horribly biased) on several instances they anchors and field reporters pleading like homeless people for money to get help to certain sections of New Orleans... The response was extremely inept and questionable...

I don't know how many of u have been to New Orleans but prior to Katrina It would take 45+ minutes to drive across Ponchetrain.. Anybody could see that if this Hurricane hit inland and did any kind of damage those levees were gonna go...

I hope i haven't offended anyone this being a very touchy subject... just figured i might try to offer a bit of semblance to the OP's original post...
