i stand that the original cant be beat. is part 2 the greatest sequel ever made? yes. but, the first one has more awsome killing scenes and marlon brando as one of the most famous characters ever. thats just to start things off.

I have to disagree with the statement about number 2 being the best sequel ever made, but it is good. The first is the best though.

I'm disappointed with you Custom. Vincent is a great character. But, even still, Part III doesn't compete with I and II.

I think that godfather 3 gets an unfair rep. It is still a good movie, but it had the impossible expectations of having to live up to its predecessors, which were probably the two best movies ever.

Now, for the debate on the other two, it is really like choosing between kids for me, but I guess I will try. i voted for 1 in the poll, but i think i might just have to switch it to 2. Pacino gives the greatest acting performance of all time in 2, and there is such an intense range of emotions. so, i guess i will go with 2, but i will probably change it to 1 in a little bit

Whoever voted for III is a jackass....I voted for II but I don't really think II is any better than I...rather I think they are perfect compliments to each other. De Niro's performance gives the boost to II though.
