I have played seriously now for about 1.5 years both live and online. I finally got pokertracker at the end of July in order to get serious about making money online.
Having put in a month's worth of hands I now seek some feedback from the regulars here in the strategy section.
I have 4-tabled about 28000 hands at the pokerstars 1/2 ring games. I've won 1.09 BB/ 100 hands.
First off, how is that win rate? I often read that 2 BB/ 100 is what a reasonable goal should be. Does it change when 4-tabling? How many hands does it take to confidently approximate your actual win rate? It feels like the last 2 weeks or so have been very unlucky (say, in comparison to my pre-pokertracker days and also to the first two weeks of these 28000 hands). For the first 10000 or so hands my winrate was a bit higher than 2 BB/100.
Is it unreasonable to think that my actual winrate could be around 2BB/100 in the longer run?
In any case, could you help me identify any glaring leaks in my game? My VPIP is 18.8, PFR is 8.5, WTSD is 31.56, won$SD is 54.37, and my AF is 2.33.
What other stats might help you spot problems in my game?
Part of the motivation for this post is that I plan on moving up to 2/4 fairly so I want to get input before I jump up.

Those stats look fine.

2BB/100 is not unreasonable, but 1.09BB/100 is more than enough to move up. It's probably not a matter of fixing an glaring leaks in your game, just fine tuning certain areas of it. You'd be suprised how a few minor corrections can make a big difference in your winrate. A bet saved here/a value bet there, it really doesn't take much.

You're V$PIP looks good. Remember, you want to maximize your time against the weaker players and minimize it agianst the stronger players. Hands that may be playable in LP agianst poor opponents should be disgarded against tougher players.

PFR% is good too. With time, it will probably increase a little bit, but don't force it. As with V$PIP, you will be looking to maximize your time against weak players. This may mean isolating a weak limper in LP with hands you would normally try to steal with (A9o, KTs, etc.). Don't get carried away with this idea. Start off slow, and stay in your comfort zone.

Again, with time your AF will go up. It's good where it's at now, but a little more aggression at some key times will help.

In the general strat section there's a PT information thread stickied. At the end of that, there's a link to a 2+2 thread that shows average numbers for V$PIP, WTSD, AF, etc. You may want to look at that to find out where you need to improve. Make sure you don't try to adjust your play to fit the numbers however. Identify why your numbers are off (if they are at all), and how that relates to your play.

don't worry much about stats.
my vpip is up considerably over the last 5000 hands and so is my win/rate...which moves a lot now since I only have 8000 hands.

Whether it was not maximizing a win or losing too much.

and often it's best to stop posting the hand right before the point you make the decision..less response bias.

Interesting that you say that. Earlier that % was a bit higher and I was having more success. Could certainly just be that I was getting more raising hands/situations. Maybe not.

I think this is definitely something I could work on. I certainly have used pokertracker to play each opponent accordingly, but I probably don't actively attack the really bad players enough.

I have started doing a bit of that lately and I will probably do it even more in the future. It's very helpful, as is the constant lurking I do here.
