I'm dealt A icon_suit_club.gif 3 icon_suit_spade.gif 6 icon_suit_spade.gif J icon_suit_club.gif one off the button. Minimum raise 5 callers, I call. Flop comes J icon_suit_diamond.gif 3 icon_suit_club.gif 10 icon_suit_club.gif. 3 checks, $14 (pot) bet in front of me, I call, fold, call, call. Turn A icon_suit_spade.gif Check, check, all in for $25.

Is this an easy fold? And I'm not sure about my call on the flop, but I'd appreciate feedback.

I'll post the rest later, if anyone cares.

Check/fold the flop.

Only 9 outs give you the nut high.

Good luck.

Reasons to call:
You have a lot of outs to a full house and the nut flush.
There's a lot of money in the pot.

Reasons to fold:
You have no shot at the low, so you're only going to win half the pot if a low comes off.
You're likely still drawing to the high.
The odds don't justify it.

I say fold.

Any thoughts on if I should have folded the flop?

Probably need to fold the flop too. You're not getting odds and you're not closing the action. On the good side...low is drawing to runner-runner.
Smasharoo
Very easy flop fold.

good luck.

That's pretty what what I thought. I'm pretty new to Omaha 8. I called and was up against KK and a lower flush draw. So I was ahead on the turn. I made my flush on the river, and there was no low, so I took my biggest pot yet playing Omaha. But I wanted to get some info on if my play was wrong.

Thanks for help guys, I'm trying to avoid letting my bad play (even if it's rewarded) continue.
