I'll be in LA next Wed and wanted to play some 3/6 or 4/8 at commerce that night. However, I just saw that the LA Poker Classic is being held there.

I've never been at a casino during a major event.

Should I just avoid Commerce and go somewhere else, like the Bike?

Thanks.

NO WAY! This should make you want to go. Have you ever been to the Commerce? There are so many tables there that is won't make a difference. Well, I shouldn't say that. There is a wait especially Friday Saturday Nights. However, the wait is not even that bad.

Yeah he's right, don't even worry about it. It's not too bad. I go there every other day to play in satellites for the LA Poker Classic and if you go during the day it shouldn't be too bad. I like the Bike too, they are both good. It's just kind of cool when you are playing in a satellite and when the Omaha tourney is going on on the other side of the room you see Men "the master" Nguyen. Commerce is the spot to see all that. Also, I am not sure if you guys remember Ellix Powers from the WSOP, the one who put the table on tilt when making fun of the person who called him with jack high? anyways i played in a limit tourney with him. He is pretty obnoxious but I like that. anyway that's besides the point. Just go to commerce, its clean and huge. Good Poker environment.

Play 9/18 if you have the bankroll for it. Commerce has some of the best mid limit games on the planet.

It's the largest poker room in the world, you probably won't even notice that the tournament is going on unless you try to find it.

Play Pan for an hour for fun and see if you can get some old women to yell at you.
