Was thumbing through some of the season 1 stuff and was thinking about some of the funnier hands shown.

1) Tony G. at the Aviation Club

"You call it?...Just like that?...It's A FLUSH!!!!!"

2) Flack vs Lederer heads up Foxwoods

Lederer bets 30k and Flack tosses in 20k in chips then tosses in one of the stacks of cash...Lederer doesn't crack a smile

3) Antonio knocking out Phil at Lucky Chances

Phil: "Show some class and shake my hand, don't do the wave"

Antonio: "But I always do the wave"

When Antonia said that i almost died laughing.

He was really frustrating Phil all day, destroying his button raises, etc. I also found his response of always doing the wave extra hilarified seeing as how it was his 1st final table of any major.

Juha Helppi getting Phil Gordon so frustrated he dumped a glass of water on himself. laugh.gif

Lederer can't smile. He has had botox injections.

Yes, Tony G does have some classic moments on that first season. Others to remember:

Freddy Deeb saying that Gus Hansen was a terrible player and how he would like to play with him everday. Whoops.

Just about any moment with Paul Magriel, X-22.

When Layne Flack tells Jerry Buss to step it up heads-up, because he is just running over him.

And my favorite moment of all:

When the little punk in the Party Poker Million limit episode talks about how most of the pros "aren't well rounded in their game" and how he is the next generation of poker superstar. He then proceeds to limp in with J J on the button and lose most of his chips to Chip Jett. Nice job, player. Naturally, we haven't heard anything from him since.....
