For those of you who read my last post about a slowplayed set is this one better?
WonderfulSplash
Much better, scarier board. Nh

Very True, Thanks.

Most likely I would of slow played this until the river. It's not a very scarey board.

Huh? There is a flush draw, a ton of straight draws the guy
could have not to mention what the OP would be faced with
should the 10 or Ace pair on the river. He played this perfectly
getting all the money in on the turn before any of the draws could
show up and scare him off. There are a lot of cards you don't want
to see on the turn for that guy's $11 bet.
CobaltBlue
Obviously played out well...but it really isn't a very scary board against a rational UTG opponent. Can we really put him on an OESD w/ 98 or 65? And, he might possibly have picked up a flush draw on the turn...but he'd probably have to be playing something along the lines of KsTs.

From the action, it looks like the opponent has AT...which makes the push great...but not because of the likelihood of good draws coming in.

Rational and opponent are two words that don't often
go together at $100NL. This guy could be playing all
kinds of suited connectors for a limp preflop even from UTG.

I like getting the money in on the turn.
CobaltBlue
Like I said...I agree. Just don't think it's as likely to be a draw here, but I may be wrong.

krup, for the sake of curiosity, do you mind sharing the results?

UTG had AT and missed his boat on the river.

No Prob.

The Villian had Ace 7
Rocketwadster
Only conceivable fear is that UTG had pocket aces, and had limped hoping it was raised behind him. Pocket 7's or pocket 10's are less likely, as they would have bene raised pre-flop by UTG IMO.

Well played.
